The Gari Loop

I was going to share experiences about Gari. I truly did, but I delayed it and now Gari's just a thorn in my life that I don't even feel like there's anything true worth mentioning.
Except maybe the fact that Gari's in my title.
The Gari Loop, as defined by me, is a life cycle, of someone who works hard, but failed themselves then found a saving point so that they won't break down, but surviving only that point only to work hard again and fails again, and so on.

Little Sunshine

To be perfectly honest, I'm in the worst slum in my life right now. I've been constantly depressed in the worst way since last two year, but I tried to hold it in, because people say that time will heal thing.

So I hang on to it, hoping that this odd lingering mixture of negativity will leave me in peace one day. Sometimes it does.

Catching the Worm

So I've been like on a roll with my new fanfic since these past months.

It felt good to be able to write again.

To Bloom in Adversity

When he asked my grandmother if she would mind being poor, she said she would be happy just to have her daughter and himself: 'If you have love, even plain water is sweet.” —Jung Chang
I read Wild Swans back in Standard 5. I was 11 years old. I read it discreetly because the book was in the adult collection, meaning it wasn't by recommendation that I found it, nor did anyone expect that I would have been interested in reading it.
Wild Swans; Three Daughter of China
I was though.

Small Surprise

My baby cousin, Dan told me “Auntie, don’t give up”. Then he chant it repeatedly, playing I’m not sure what. I don’t know which cartoon he watched, but that took me by surprise.

Even a kid gave me life hints. Or was I hearing things?

The Meaning of the Blocks of Papers

Books.
Wondrous, lovely, tempting, treacherous little things.
For me it is. For me they are.

I started reading at the age of 4. I learned my alphabets fast. For a slow learner, that I picked up at a really weird pace. Quite alarming, if you think about it. For at that time, my peers, neighbours, family, siblings and friends, were picking up stones and blocks and play shooting games, or play castles -prince, princesses, dinosaurs, fishing, tiger, cat, dog, mermaid etc or simply swing and slide in the playground.
Me?
Let's go back in history.

“What would you do if you were not afraid?”

Was reading through many other blogs and I stumbled upon this: http://familyonbikes.org/blog/2011/11/50-lessons-i-wish-i-had-learned-earlier/

Imagine if you're in well... just anywhere, and wanted to do something, but you didn't. Reasons: could be a lot. Could be few. Most of the time, it's that fear. Fear of shame, fear of being weird, odd and different. Fear of being laughed at. Fear of being rejected, or ignored. Fear of things going wrong. It could be anything.

So when I was saw that, I did, somehow pulled to that imagination of a world without that fear.
"What will I do if I was not afraid?"

Stage 2: Exposition

Sorry for being lazy with post.

As for the title, if you're wondering, in a plot, there's introduction/exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution, right?

I think I'm at the 2nd stage of my the plot, hence explains the title.

I would think that my exposition would be the moment I decided to be resolute on my goal. I had taken the first step (the smallest first step; still a step anyway), so I'm putting myself on the 2nd stage instead of first.

I want to do more this year. Well, to align with my resolution.
I mean it.

Contribute to Yourself

Time passes and now it's December. I have many plans for November but in the end, it's just some un-executed plans.

Reaching the last month of the year makes me a bit sad. It's like a remembrance that I have wasted those passing months. True, I stayed to my goal, so why would I consider those times wasted? Still, telling yourself you have done great is like lying that your knowledge is as much as the pile of books in your home. You can relate to these right?
